About System Functions

A limited number of functions are accessed via a special log in that provides access to Campus Cafe servers. Sometimes this is referred to as accessing "the client." Functions on the client include:

• GPA processor (scheduled to run nightly automatically)
• Update salutations
• Create pledge reminders
• Accounts payable control
• Accounts payable check writing, including hand checks, individual student refunds and check voids
• Merge vendors
• Budget creation
• Fiscal year-end close

Authorize Access to System Functions

To ensure the security of the Campus Cafe platform, Campus Cafe allows only designated computers or groups of computers to access these functions. 

Please submit to Campus Cafe support the IP address of the computer or network that requires access to these functions.
