About Balance Sheet/P&L Captions

The About Balance Sheet/P&L captions page allows institutions to group general ledger accounts into categories and create subtitle lines on accounting base reports.

Add Line

Permission #343 is required to access this function.

1. Navigate to Accounting > Balance Sheet/P&L Captions
2. Click New Record
   Line Number: The general ledger line number
   Sub Line Number: The general ledger sub line number. Note entering 999 will create a subtotal that sums all lines of the same line number
   GL Title: Text to describe the general ledger account
3. Click Create

Change Line

Permission #343 is required to access this function.

1. Navigate to Accounting > Balance Sheet/P&L Captions
2. Next to the line to change, check the checkbox
3. Click Edit Selected
4. Make desired changes
5. Click Update
