About Fiscal Years

Fiscal years represent the institution's annual accounting period.

Set up Fiscal Year Codes

Fiscal year codes are set in STParms (Admin > STParm Maintenance) using parameter code ZZFISC. Set the parameter value using the naming convention FY followed by two digits representing the first year of the fiscal year followed by two digits of the last year of the fiscal year. For example, FY1920 to represent the fiscal year that started in 2019 and ended in 2020.

After adding new fiscal years, refresh the cache by navigating to Admin > Refresh Data Cache > reload cached data.
