Registration Messages

About Registration Messages

If students are self registering, messages can be displayed during the registration process.

Pre-Registration Message

A message can be shown to students prior to registration, asking them to agree to or confirm and understanding of policies or to provide additional explanation about the registration process.

Users with permission 234 set to NA under My Info will suppress the message.

To change the message

1. Navigate to Admin --> Adjustable Text Maintenance
2. In the Container Web Registration Disclaimer Screen, locate the DISCLAIMER_MESSAGE
3. Click the pencil icon
4. Make changes (this field supports HTML)
5. Click Save
6. This change will become effective the next time Refresh Data Cache is run

Course Basket Messages

Once in the course basket, messages may be shown.

 General Message

A general message with instructors is controlled by permission 592.

To change the message

1. Navigate to Admin --> Adjustable Text Maintenance
2. In the Container Web Registration Disclaimer Screen, locate the COURSE_BASKET_MSG
3. Click the pencil icon
4. Make changes (this field supports HTML)
5. Click Save
6. This change will become effective the next time Refresh Data Cache is run
