Article Summary

About Academic Advisors

Students may be connected to one or two individuals that serve as an advisor to the student. Advisors can be informational and displayed to students and others. The advisor can also be used as part of the process to restrict registration until advisor approval occurs. The labels can be changed. For example, your institution may want Advisor 1 to displayed as Academic Advisor and Advisor 2 to be displayed as Athletic Advisor. Refer to changing the academic advisor label documentation.
