About Attendance Reports

Campus Cafe includes an attendance feature that allows the recording of attendance for both clock-hour and credit-based schools. Attendance reports summarize hours attended and absences.

Attendance Clock Hour Report for Individual Class

  1. Navigate to the Course Roster
  2. Click Reports
  3. Click Clock Hour All to show the report for all students or Clock Hour Selected for the report for selected students

Attendance Report for Individual Class

Dates highlighted in purple indicate that a student is on a leave of absence those dates and attendance may not be recorded.

  1. Navigate to the Course Roster
  2. Click Reports
  3. Click Attendance All to show the report for all students or Attendance Selected for the report for selected students

Attendance Report for Group of Students

  1. Navigate to Filters > Students
  2. Use the filters to return the desired population (For example, all students with degree status enrolled)
  3. Once the results load, under Actions click +Reports
  4. Click the desired report
    Clock Hour Report or
    Attendance Analysis Report or
    Attendance Percentage Report or
    Student Progress Report

Note: The Attendance Percentage Report is based on days present, not individual classes, meaning if a student was absent from class A on December 1 and present in class B on December 1, the system will consider the student present for December 1. The report also includes in scheduled hours scheduled days for dropped classes.

Attendance Report for All Classes/Students

SSRS reports combine attendance reports for groups of students or courses. They may be accessed in the report module.

  1. Navigate to Faculty Staff > Base Reports (or SSRS reports)
  2. Log in to the report module
  3. Click Attendance Reports

Attendance Report for Individual Student through Profile

The attendance report for an individual student will show the student's overall attendance in his or her classes.

  1. Navigate to the student
  2. Click the Student Degree tab 
  3. Next to Attendance Type click Credit or Clock
  4. Choose a start semester
  5. Choose an end semester
  6. Click Submit

Attendance Report for Individual Students through Student Finder

The Student Finder may be used to return a group of students and show a link to each student's attendance history.

  1. Navigate to the Student Finder
  2. Set the desired filters
  3. Click Submit
  4. Click Advisor Mode
  5. Next to Advisor Mode, select the desired semester
  6. Click Submit
  7. If the Attend History column does not appear, click Column Visibility then click Attend History
  8. Next to a student click Attend History to show a summary of the student's attendance
