About the Donation Portal

The Campus Cafe platform offers a donation page where donations can be made either by an individual logged in to Campus Cafe or without being logged in. Campus Cafe supports one donation page.

Configure Donation Page Appearance

Institutions may style the donation page by placing content above and below the form and in the planned giving section. Additionally, content may be added on the payment screen.

HTML/CSS may be used in these fields. To reference CSS, place the CSS in the custom CSS box on the Appearance and Student Photos page.

1. Navigate to Admin > Adjustable Text Maintenance
2. Locate the adjustable text options with the Container Donation Portal.
   DONATION_HEADER: Content appearing at the bottom of the donation form
   DONATION_FOOTER: Content appearing at the bottom of the donation form
   DONATION_PLAN_GIVING: Content appearing in the planned giving section of the donation form
   PAYMENTS_DONATION_FEE_CLOB: Content appearing on the payment page
3. Enter text, HTML/CSS in the Value box
4. Click Save
5. Refresh the cache by navigating to Admin > Refresh Data Cache > reload data

Configure Donation Page Fields

Select fields on the donation page may be hidden.

1. Navigate to Admin > Custom Control Maintenance
2. Locate the ProgramID DONPORTAL
3. Next to the field to hide click the pencil
4. In the Parameter Value box associated with the field to hide enter a Y
5. Click Save

Access the Donation Portal

From within Campus Cafe

Navigate to Alum/Dev > Make a Donation

From outside of Campus Cafe

To obtain the public link to the donation page log in to Campus Cafe and Navigate to Alum/Dev > Make a Donation. The address in your browser's address bar is the public URL (address) to share with donors. You may link to the URL from your website, email or other location.

Payments

The donation will appear in Gift Cash Batch Listing (Alum/Dev > Gift Cash Batch) for posting.
