About Student Self-Service Registration 

Provided students have the requisite access to the screen and are in a permission group with permissions that allow it, students may self register in keeping with Registration Control setup dates.

Student path to registration

  1. Navigate to My Info > Register for Classes
  2. If configured, accept the enrollment message
  3. Choose a semester 
  4. Optionally choose a sub-semester
  5. Click Submit
  6. Click Add to the left of any classes to add
     The classes will appear on the bottom half of the screen
  7. Clicking the "Click here when you are done" to Check Out will lead to a confirmation message. This button is optional and may be controlled through permissions.
CAUTION NOTE: The Confirmation button only gives a confirmation to the student and then lead with a button to the payment page; students are registered the instant that they click "Add" next to the course. The confirmation button is not a save button.   

To drop a class, go to the Register for Classes page and on the bottom click drop to the left of the class to drop.

To swap a go to the Register for Classes page and on the bottom click Replace to the left of the class to swap. Then choose the new class above by clicking Select to the left of the class.

NOTE: Setting NA to Permission 737 will disable students to be able to show/hide different shown information columns on the registration page.

Confirmation Button Settings

Setting NA to Permission 1040 only will disable the "Confirmation Button" and replace it with the "Make a Payment Button".
Setting NA to Permission 1057 only will disable the "Make Payment Button" from the Confirmation page.
Setting NA to Permissions 1040 & 1057 at the same time will disable both the Make Payment button and Confirmation buttons. (Even though the confirmation buttons are hidden, clicking "add" on a class will still register the student).
